"Madison Layle and Anna Leigh Keaton give readers a thrill with CONQUERING CONNIE, the latest addition to their INCOGNITO series. I might as well warn you now, this story packs an emotional wallop as you ‘watch’ Connie go from playful and teasing to depressed and unsure of herself. Tyrone and Alex are strong, determined men who know what they want and aren’t afraid to go the extra mile to ensure Connie’s happiness and well being. I love the emotional connection between the characters that was present even before Master Randy’s death, but afterwards, it’s positively intense.
As with all the books in this series, CONQUERING CONNIE leaves you hungering for the next addition to this series. The ending is dramatic to say the least and there’s a new addition to the patrons of the club (even if she is sneaking around) who could definitely use a good spanking. I’ll definitely be watching for more INCOGNITO books to be released.

"Incognito: Desiring Dixie combines a bit of naughtiness with a big dose of lust and comes out a winner. Dixie’s character is warm, caring and totally sexy. She is a strong woman, yet has doubts about getting into a relationship with anyone that might view her as inferior. Bastian is pure hot and sexy male. His desire for the kinky side of sex adds the right amount of spice to the story. The sex is scrumptious. The interaction between the multiracial characters is sizzling. I enjoyed this book and couldn’t wait to get to the end and go look for more by these talented authors. Fabulous job by Ms. Layle and Ms. Keaton"

"I adored Dixie and Bastian’s romance. I loved the fact that these two were from totally different backgrounds and their relationship changed their perspectives about the opposite social classes as they found not only love, but a better understanding of the world at large. If there is a moral to this story, it is certainly about keeping an open mind and never pre-judging a person based on their upbringing.
I do think there is room to revisit these fascinating characters in a future book. It would be great to see this couple star in another Incognito book someday, with Dixie and Bastian exploring the BDSM lifestyle more fully together. I, for one, wouldn’t mind spending more time with these people.
Once again, I applaud Ms. Layle and Ms. Keaton’s work. I cannot say enough good about these authors, so I will continue touting them to anyone who will listen! It is my very distinct pleasure to give this story Kwips’ maximum rating of five Klovers! "

"Incognito: Desiring Dixie is about the misconceptions than can occur when judging a person by their name. Although there is some light bondage in this book, it’s unlike most of the other Incognito stories as most of it takes place outside of the club. I loved Dixie’s character. Even though it didn’t seem like she had much in the physical sense of possessions, she was rich in her actions. I also really loved Bastian. He wasn’t the typical spoiled little rich kid. He wanted to make his own way in the world and not live off his father’s name. Madison Layle and Anna Leigh Keaton have another winning book with Incognito: Desiring Dixie."

I loved this book. Absolutely loved it.
"Michael and Christy come to the decision that while she will cook for him and clean, she will never come close to his things nor demand anything from him. And they like it that way. That is, until a thunderstorm in the middle of the night brings out Michael’s protective instincts and when those instincts flair, there is no denying the attraction each feel for the other.
I loved this book. Absolutely loved it. Michael was so scarred and sad, and like Chailali, I despaired of him ever taking the chance and allowing himself to be loved like he deserved. Christy’s characterization was so realistic I could feel the anxiety she felt at times and I just wanted to hug her. All in all, Chailali’s Curse was a great read with lots of emotion and chemistry. Anna Leigh Keaton should be proud of this one!

"Poignant and inspiring Chailali’s Curse by Anna Leigh Keaton focuses on two people who each have their own demons to face, demons that haunt them everyday. I loved reading this book, it moved me with its content, of how hard and how long it takes to forgive yourself for mistakes that you make in the heat of the moment, mistakes that haunt in a multitude of ways. I loved Mike for the understanding way he was able to coax Christy into conquering her fears, of overcoming the terror she confronted daily since her ordeal. And I also loved the way Christy performed, for not giving up on Mike and showing him that while life may throw misfortunes in your way, not giving up and learning to love again went a long way to confronting adversity. This book isn’t just about a hero and heroine being able to find love and redemption after so much disaster has touched their lives, it’s also about a ghost, Chailali, a woman punished for her actions against a man who didn’t return her love and her quest for redemption. Ms Keaton has become one of my favorite authors and this book just highlights one of the reasons why. Every reader of paranormal stories needs to get this fantastic and moving book, if not for its characters then definitely for its story."

Their story is touching, sensual and humorous at times, the plot is solid and believable and progresses quickly enough to keep your interest. The interaction between Neela and the boys is an added bonus and fleshes the story out nicely. A final climactic confrontation caps the story off nicely and makes you cheer for Neela and Travis. "Anna Leigh Keaton has a wonderful way of bringing her characters to life. Neela is sweet and down to earth while still giving a hint of her privileged background. The way Ms. Keaton uses words and action to portray Neela’s insecurities is flawless and the glimpses of the self assured woman she used to be are well timed and draw you into the story even more. Travis is a rancher through and through, even if Ms. Keaton had taken him away from the ranch just the way she has crafted him would have told you what he was. The man oozes hard working cowboy from every pore. Risking It All, though a short read doesn’t skimp on any emotion and certainly not on heat. As the story progresses and they get closer you feel their heartstrings twisting together, neither of them daring to hope for more than this minute in time. "Getting lost in the woods sounds like a great idea if all of the rescuers could be like Jamie. He is the epitome of a knight in shining armor, mature, gorgeous, and a truly good person. You can tell a good man by how he treats his dog, and Pixie is truly loved. Carla may think she is too old for love, but with Jamie that is no longer true. She is not about to let the “one” get away without a fight, so she goes for it. I loved every page. It is great to read a hot and sexy love story with two mature adults. "Carl has slowly escalated in the Incognito stories from minor character to supporting player until readers were practically salivating for this intriguing man’s story, and the authors did not disappoint us in Charming Carmen. Carl shows that a submissive man is not necessarily a weak man. I for one learned much about the motivations a man might have for acting in a sexually submissive role, and will readily admit that my perspective on this creature has changed for the better.
Tat is something I can truly say about each of the books in this series. Layle and Keaton always find a way to teach me something new, both about this lifestyle and myself. They succeed time and again in altering my perceptions and making me think. While these talented authors continue to provoke me in such ways, I will be first in line to read their books as soon as they release!

Carmen is a capable, intelligent woman that is determined to live her life as she wants and not let another man walk all over her. There are also lots of wonderful secondary characters that have had stories of their own in earlier books. Also, the story takes place on the beach in sunny Florida, which couldn't be a more wonderful setting. There is a lot of emotional ups and downs in this story so be prepared for a few tears."

"Charming Carmen is sexy and very captivating. Here, the woman is the Domme. Carl is the submissive and it makes a nice departure from the other Incognito stories. Carmen is a woman on the brink of discovery throughout this story. She learns new facets about her personality, her sexual tastes, and her desire for control. She is a strong woman but has only recently discovered those strengths. For Carl's part, he sees a woman on the brink of something and he wants to be a part of it. It is not easy for him to leave his comfort zone, the pretenses he has put up for so long, but he does it for Carmen and for the chance of something wonderful between them. I have to say, the ending in particular was pure grace and emotion. I felt Carl and Carmen did a great job of handling themselves and this story ended on a very high note but not necessarily the clichéd marriage and babies ending. Carl and Carmen are only just discovering each other and their own personalities to an extent, and this book welcomes that discovery with fluid prose, smart love scenes, and two characters that leave indelible impressions."

"Phantom Lover is a wonderful, emotional love story. Lilly struggles to deal with losing someone she loved and faces the dilemma of walking away from the only thing she has left of them. "Phantom Lover is full of chills and thrills that will leave readers out of

Jacques and Lilly were exceptional, full of passion and grace. I couldn't put
this story down. Readers will definitely be pulling out the toys and fantasizing
about Jacques long after they are done reading. Jacques is every woman's dream
man; sexy, suave, with a foreign accent and ready to settle down with the woman
he loves for all eternity. Lilly is who every woman strives to be; perky,
strong, beautiful, engaging and more than willing to fulfill her man's dreams.
It is amazing to see how a ghostly presence can affect a woman so strongly in
the sex department. Even though Lilly couldn't actually see Jacques, she could
hear and feel him. The plot line never faltered. If anything it became stronger
as the story went on. Together Jacques and Lilly left this reader quivering in
anticipation throughout the entire story.
Everything about Phantom Lover was awe-inspiring, from the plot line, the
characters to the astonishing sexual gratification. Very high praise goes to Ms.
Keaton for making my favorite author list. I cannot wait to read more from her
very soon!

"Oh man this was a good book! Anna Leigh Keaton has found a winner with this creative and unique storyline. The romance between Jacques and Lilly was very believable and the sex scenes were sizzling with heat. I thought that the story was very well developed and I actually felt the characters pain in the end. When part of a book can bring you to tears, I believe that it is a very well developed storyline. The theme of this book was very interesting to read about and not just another typical romance novel. I am going to try to find a print copy of this book because it is definitely going on my keeper shelf. The only bad thing that I could say about this book was that it wasn’t long enough. I found myself wanting to know what happened to the characters in the end after the book ended. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fresh new take on paranormal romance.

The relationship between them started off as that of innocent friendship that grew into a love that could cross the boundaries of limbo. Lilly was a woman who had her own troubles, ones that she needed to share with someone and when she realized that Jacques wasn’t the childhood imaginary friend but a phantom stuck in time she discovers the man that really understands and loves her. While Jacques knows that he is cursed to live a half-life of knowing that he will never die. Ms. Keaton has penned a fantastic and a hauntingly beautiful story of a quest for life and love."

"Healing Heather is the fourth book of the
Incognito
series and the first non-menage. The fact that it was
not a menage did not detract from the book one iota
and in fact, I think that the authors were wise in doing
this. Heather was emotionally fragile and very scared.
She needed one man that she would be able to to lean
on and that man was Paul Baxter. Tough cop,
demanding lover, delightful friend; he was that to
Heather and more. She completed him and his love for
her made the storyline that more poignant and beautiful.
Even though Heather was frightened, I found her
stubbornness and honesty a super addition to the plot.
Once again Madison Layle and Anna Leigh Keaton
have come through and written a totally captivating novel
with Healing Heather. I have been hooked on this series
since book one and the wait for each additional
installment gets harder and harder to bear. It goes
without saying that Healing Heather is a keeper but let

Her actions are that of someone who has been through hell and back and Kate certainly has. She has survived to a point, but it is with Toby’s help that she is starting to realize she is still letting the past win if she cannot embrace a happier future. Toby takes great pains to show her his heart and his growing love for her. I liked how they really learned to rely on each other. Even Kate, who cannot easily trust Toby, knows that he would not hurt her. It is just a matter of telling her brain that. They share a strong and sometimes painful connection, but it is honest and appealing. Both have issues to work through but they work through those issues together and I think that was what made this story so wonderful. Trust and love grow hand in hand and make WHERE THERE’S SMOKE a satisfying and fulfilling love story.

"I have read and loved each
of the previous Incognito books, but I will admit that I was
hesitant to read Incognito: Winning Angela. ... In spite of
my trepidation, I finally decided I liked the previous books
so much that I really had to read this one too, and I must say,
I was very pleasantly surprised. My fears concerning how submissive
Blaine would be were needless, and the chemistry between the
three lead characters was dynamite!
Watching Garrett and Blaine try
to ‘out-man’ each other at every step was endlessly
entertaining...Blaine is submissive to a degree, but never spineless
as I had feared he may be. He proved the perfect foil to Garrett’s
Alpha Male persona.... While I loved Blaine, I absolutely adored
Garrett. If he could step off the pages and walk into my life,
I would be one happy woman. Of course, even if he could, I supposed
it would do me no good since he is more than smitten with Angela.
Even at his most antagonistic, we see him pushing Blaine to
be the man Angela needs him to be. As Angela’s Dom, Garrett
is resolved to provide her with everything she needs, even if
that means Blaine.
I am really glad I read Incognito:
Winning Angela. It gave me new perspective on the male submissive,
along with a very sweet love story kicked up a few notches with

Cats Liam Taggert is a wet dream.
"From the first sex they have, to the last sex scene of the book, these two are hot! The sex was not purple, but it also wasn’t crude. It was loving and sexy and left even me hot and bothered! (Now that’s a feat for a m/f book, let me tell you.)
I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. It’s very tight in terms of style and plot, and I found myself wanting to read more, even when I had to stop for other things. Ms. Keaton does a wonderful job of drawing the reader in, and getting the reader into the minds of her characters. I was constantly praying that Carol would find what she so desperately sought from Liam, even if Carol herself didn’t believe she ever would.

FIVE ALARM NEIGHBOR did a wonderful job showcasing the difficulties of the women who love these everyday heroes. Gracie’s fear of becoming involved in a serious relationship with her neighbor was extremely plausible given the tragedies that she had experienced growing up. Likewise, the sexy and lovable Steve isn’t initially looking for the long-term.
That is what makes this story so engaging. Hero and heroine fall in love in spite of themselves. The near tragedies that help crystallize how they feel towards each other make an excellent case for taking the chance at happiness. These situations made clear that it might never be the danger from a job but something from the everyday that could bring about loss.
The story was a quick read that this reviewer thoroughly enjoyed. Ms Keaton has penned a delightful romance with love scenes fiery enough to inspire readers’ own firemen fantasies.

with Seducing Olivia the first book in the Incognito series.
Olivia’s character is a typical corporate woman, pushed
to succeed in the economic world and dying a little inside from
the pain of loneliness. She is not willing to allow herself
to fall in love again after the hurt caused by her fiancé.
The authors portray her conflicted feelings very well... The
character’s confusion over her desire for both Dylan and
Ryan and to surrender to their dominance is well-written...
The sex starts out quick but that is perfect for the storyline.
Dylan doesn’t allow Olivia to hide her desire and uses
the evidence from her own body to show her that she craves his
and Ryan’s attention. The sex flows with the plot and
goes from blazing to inferno by the end. I definitely needed
toys by the end. The plot was challenging in that I could understand
Olivia and her desires to be a successful businesswoman. This
book had me sighing, wishing to be seduced as Olivia’s
character was by Dylan and Ryan. If you like polygamous relationship
books, BDSM and deep love then don’t miss Seducing Olivia."
